When you love someone who begins to show a different side of themselves and maliciously hurts you like you could have never imagined, songs like this come out of you. It's the hope, in the end, that you're free from this emotional abuse and able to move on now, that keeps us alive. And we should keep going anyway, no matter how much they try to make amends so quickly after the fact.
