about

(The track listing of this album is supposed to represent the cycle of a relationship as closely as possible. This song is about getting to know that special someone better and beginning to feel something for them.)

Written about a girl who I was friends with and began to have feelings for, but I was not alone. She was the type of girl everyone was after. I could not tell her my feelings for fear of losing the friendship. Eventually I did, despite the fact that she was involved with someone else. Things didn't go as I'd hoped with that one. The title of the song was just a play on words I came up with and wanted to use somewhere so I thought it suited this song the best.

lyrics

(LYRICS)
What I've come to realize, what I've come to feel.
Cannot be said unto you, I’'m still learning how to deal.
What was once a part of me, what was once a dream.
Has surfaced to a different level by breaking down the beams.

No longer should I carry, no longer should I wait.
No longer should I concentrate on your poisoned bait.
It brings me down. It keeps me bound.
It turns me inside-out. It turns me upside-down.

'Cause what can I say to a dampened ear that's heard it all before?
To prove my love without a doubt.
To prove I’'m the one for her.

What I'’ve come to realize, what I’ve come to feel.
Cannot be said unto you, I’'m still learning how to deal.
To what extent you know of me, you'll never hear me say.
Perhaps you'd want to hear it, though, perhaps you'll turn away.

That's not a risk I want to take; not something I should do,
but I must admit it to myself... I've fallen in love with you.

And it brings me down. It keeps me bound.
It turns me inside-out, It turns me upside-down.

'Cause what can I say to a dampened ear that's heard it all before? To prove my love without a doubt.
To prove I’'m the one for her.
