about

(The track listing of this album is supposed to represent the cycle of a relationship as closely as possible. This song is about trying to wrestle with the idea of getting back together with your ex who's hurt you so bad.)

For awhile, this was my favorite song. It still seems to catch the ear of many moreso than the others on this album, but it's hard for me to look at the lyrics and repetitive melody as anything but juvenile at this point. It's got a good beat, though.

lyrics

(LYRICS)
Do you really want to know who I am?
Do you really want to know who I am?

Do you think you can handle it?
I don’'t think you can handle it.
A lamb is what you were to me
and a lion is what you made me.

Do you really want to hold me, like you say?
Do you really want to love me, like you say?

Or will you just leave me again;
Lost and hungry for more again?
Or will we be together again, forever and a day?

Do you really want to know who I am?
Do you really want to know who I am inside my head?
...I don'’t think so.
